Welcome to Chapter EAA 187!

Welcome to the world of aviation through the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 187 in Austin, Texas.  The Capitol of Texas chapter sports many airplane enthusiasts from the high wingers to low wingers and some with both.

We have young and not so young, builders and factory flyers all with the same desire…let’s go fly somewhere and get BBQ.

When the chapter members are not flying or building, we have a formal meeting once a month, and a very informal weekly lunch meeting. A bi-weekly evening meal get-together is also planned. Our formal venue does change at times, so you have to stay on your toes to keep up.  Check the menu for meeting location and times.

Each meeting is business, pleasure and program, although not always in that order.  We will have updates on member projects and opportunity persists for sharing ideas and getting the experts (someone who had the experience of building already) to help with your unique problem.

Meetings

Formal Chapter meeting:second Thursday of each month at 6:45pm to 8:30 PM, usually at   Wells Branch Community Library, 15001 Wells Port Dr, Austin, TX . (Check for latest updates.)

Weekly meeting: 'Thursday lunch bunch' at Golden Coral, N. Lamar, Austin, at 11.30 am. [usually seated South East corner of dining room]
