Minutes of meeting June 5 2008

General:

The meeting was opened at 7.15 PM at the Wells Branch Library by Rob Reese, Chapter President..

Visitors:

Visitors and new members were introduced

Treasurer’s Report:

Brad Bellamy reported that the end of April Chapter total bank balance was $ 20,762.68

Brad indicated that he will be traveling extensively and would like to find a substitute treasurer.

New Business:

The EAA B-17 “ Aluminum Overcast” is again on a national tour and will be in from October 30 to November 3. Planning for that visit was discussed

Activities.

6/14 is Young Eagles day at GTU, have 30 kids and need more planes

6/21 Joe Sills meeting and BBQ at Kitty Hill, bring a dish, cash contribution

6/20 Stu McCurdy will have formation flying clinic in Brownwood

Dan Badwey tentatively announced a hanger sale for the Jim Newman Estate

8/7 Air Venture review, bring pictures

Program:

Roger Ritter discussed Kingsbury Aerodrome projects and their progress
