EAA Chapter 187
Minutes of April 9, 2009 meeting
The meeting was opened by Chapter President Rob Reese at 6.45 PM at the Old Quarry Branch Library in Austin.
There were two visitors present, Chip Freytag (RV-9A) and John Spratt (Sea Ray)
The previous month’s minutes were unanimously approved.
The treasurer’s report indicated that the present bank balance should be $ 21,229.68 going into May 2009.
The calendar of events included the following for the month of April:
Sun & Fun Air Show, April 10th
Llano Fly in April 10th
Randolph AFB fly in April 25th, see Deene Ogden or Seth Hancock
An appeal was made for help to find new speakers for future meetings contact Miohael
A Safety Disccussion covered low fuel, take off fuel pressures, fuel types.
Threr were project reports on:
Deene Ogden : RV-8 flyind
Stu McCardy acting as chase for Deene on first flight
John Spratt: Sea Ray
Mark Dubroski presented a program on Subaru Engine conversion
The meeting adjourned at 9.00PM
